What are the benefits

My work has been inspired by the places we have lived and visited in Florida. We owned a fishing house in Suwannee, Florida for 11 years, boated, fished and enjoyed all the native beauty of the island and the trees, marshes and swamps surrounding it. I mainly have lots of photo references to paint from although I have done some plein aire painting. I love the changes in the trees by season and the birds (especially the herons) that live and migrate there. My favorite time of day is late in the afternoon when the sun reaches a point that reflects wonderful oranges and golds on the marsh and in the palms. The waterways are greatly affected by the tides and the cypress trees that create the orange/brown in the bottom of them.
